WELL, HERE YOU GO-

SO HERE IT IS, THIS IS WHAT I DID INSTEAD OF DAVENPORT. SAID SCREW IT, LOADED THE TRUCK AND HEADED FOR CALI. T-BONE'S SHOVEL HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FAVORITE BIKE AND NOW I GOT MY HANDS ON IT- IT MAKES THE SPORTY LOOK BIG!
IT AIN'T QUITE AS EASY TO KICK START, ON ACCOUNT I WEIGH A BUCK AND A QUARTER,

BUT I CAN DO IT, GOTTA SWING THE OTHER LEG TO GET SOME UMPH BEHIND IT-

5 DAYS, 4500 MILES, 69 HOURS ON THE ROAD, NOT INCLUDING THE HOURS SLEPT IN THE TRUCK-

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. BEEN WANTING TO HEAD OUT WEST FOR AWHILE NOW, SEE PLACES LIKE ARIZONA,

CALIFORNIA,

BIKE IS LOADED AND READY TO SEE MIKE DOWN IN SAN DIEGO,

AND I DON'T THINK THE WEATHER IS WORTH ALL THIS TROUBLE. 5 LANES ALL CREEPING ALONG. IT'S RETARDED. MAKES THE MIDWEST ALL THE MUCH BETTER-

SAN DIEGO AS VEIWED FROM THE NAVAL BASE BARRICKS. I TELL YA, IT WAS MORE LIKE A FANCY HOTEL THAN A MILITARY BASE. SUBWAY AND COFFEE SHOP IN THE LOBBY, KEY CARD LOCKS, RUNNING TRACK, DRIVING AREA TO PRACTICE YOUR SWING, AND EVERYBODY HAD THERE OWN BALCONEY. THIS IS MIKES ON THE 18th FLOOR. IT'S A ROUGH LIFE-

MIKE TOOK US OUT TO LOMA POINT FOR SOME SIGHTS,

GOOD SCENERY-

HEADING BACK EAST THRU UTAH, WHICH IS ACTUALLY REAL COOL,

THEN ON THROUGH COLORADO-

ALL IN ALL, A REAL GOOD TRIP-

THE WEST IS COOL BUT IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME. AFTER ALL THE CRAZINESS OUT ON THE COAST, I REALIZE HOW MUCH I ENJOY THE PEACEFULLNESS AND SLOW GOING OF THE MIDWEST. THINGS AIN'T SO BAD OUT HERE AFTER ALL, YES, IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME-
