SO DECIDED TO MAKE AT LEAST ONE OF THE SICKLES PASSENGER FRIENDLY AND STUCK SOME SHOCKS BACK ON THE SPORTY INSTEAD OF THE STRUTS. PROBLEM IS, YOU CHANGE ONE THING AND IT STARTS A CHAIN REACTION.
FIRST I HAD TO RE-ROUTE THE REAR PIPE FOR MOVEMENT. DON'T TOTALLY LIKE IT BUT HAD TO BE DONE QUICKLY AND CHEAP. I'M LOW ON GAS FOR THE WELDER, CAN GO WASTE'N IT ALL JUST YET.
THERE WERE A COUPLE HOLES ALREADY IN THE FENDER FOR PREVIOUS IDEAS. THOUGHT I WOULD USE WHATS THERE AND GO FOR A SPARTO-ESQUE LOOK.
THIS IS THE BEST I COULD COME UP WITH IN SHORT TIME AND STILL MAKE ROOM FOR SOMEBODY ON THE BACK.
PLUS I USED UP ALL MY GAS BY THIS TIME.
AND I NEEDED IT ALL DONE BY THE NEXT MORNING IN ORDER TO RIDE DOWN TO THE DUCKTAIL. A QUICK SHOT OF RUST-OLEUM BAKED AT 100 DEGRESS FOR 45 MINUTES MAKES A COMPLETED PAINT JOB IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.
TOO BAD THE TAPE I PUT ON THE PAINT TO PROTECT IT TURNED OUT TO BE WHAT SCREWED IT UP. PULLED THE CLEAR RIGHT OFF THE SPRAY BOMB JOB. GUESS YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AFTER ALL.
WHA-LAH,
FINISHED-
NOT FOND OF THE FENDER RIDING SO HIGH, BUT IT'LL DO. ALL IT NEEDS IS A REAR SEAT, BUT THE PIECE OF FOAM WITH "BITCH PAD" SHARPIED ON IT WILL WORK FOR THE TIME BEING.
