For Ana.Drs...Mrs.W?
Had a memory take my mind off things today. It's amazing how songs take you back to a moment you cherish.I was at this ghost show, it was at the fireside bowl and I was 23.It was a saturday and they had just returned from a tour overseas.I took my lady friend at the time.I remember standing on the seats to see better. This band was great,Brian moss is a hell of a musician.A few years later after my friend and I parted ways for greener grass, the ghost broke up and I know she shed a tear or two.The last show was at the old bottom lounge and was fucking great...I went alone and enjoyed the evening of music that made me think of her.I can still remember perfectly trying to fall asleep in studio apartment in lincoln park,in a single bed crunched together with two chihuahuas and everything purple and listening to every one of these songs.I always wonder if 3 years and a J.D was worth it.The town of C.bass is a fun place to visit but, never a place you would want to live....I know a new last name came of it....
The same of Hot water music...the first time I saw them was at the metro,it was the same year the johnny cash had died and the guitarist was so fucking drunk they turned down his sound. The show happen to have the ghost as well and a not so big alkaline trio that didn't show...
And....the last time I saw sparta was an acoustic show at the abbey pub.We had just started the ground war and they where taping sound opinions on xrt, a radio show ,talking about the war and their music....

Dude I was at that ghost show at the fireside too, candy was serving me beer and Hammer was asking me about my brother and I was under 21, I was also at the metro the night alktrio, my favorite band by the way, didn't show up and this too was my first time seeing HWM, Sparta kicks ass, and I have yet to see them. However, these songs bring me different memories, of happy mosh pitting times!! Fuck yeah Joshua, great taste in musack!!
