Copy and paste...

Saw it today with my own two eyes,came out of breakfast and saw the whole ''look'' on some guy.leather,hoodie flat black open face helmet..no skate shoes but bright red new balance running shoes.Time for a change.....

Leave one in the mainstream spotlight for long enough and eventually EVERY underground movement will be co-opted by the same mass-market it was founded to rebel against. Few social phenomena mirror this paradox more consistently than the chopper scene.

From its birth after WW II, there hasn't been an icon at the forefront of "the biker movement" that society at large hasn't clamored to emulate. From Brando's greaser in "The Wild Ones" to Fonda's hippy in "Easy Rider" to Sandy Bullock's blue-collar boy toy at the turn of this century, every decade or so Madison Avenue feeds another pre-fab rebel into the ravenous jowls of low society for mass consumption.


In his blue jeans, skate shoes and open-face helmet, this year's anarchic archetype is the flannel-clad skate punk. His rise to the throne was confirmed when Harley-Davidson cast our hero in a rash of viral videos like this...
