Made some spacers.........

Thanks to Bobby for letting me use the lathe....I gots me sum spacers! Yee Haw. Got some axle adjusters from Fab Kevin which worked out pretty good. Have to put a crown nut and cotter pin on the end of the axle but I'll do that later. My transmission case was rubbing on the tranny plate and not making a flush fit so I had to do some redneck engineering to make it fit for mock up. I will most likely take off the extra metal on the bottom of the transmission and buy a new tranny plate....the one that was in there was a cheap one anyways and I was thinking about upgrading to the more expensive and better designed version. Anyways, its just a little bit further along day by day and I should be ready to mock up my fender, brackets, sissy bar and all the other shit.

Schutzhund...

Got a chance to start picking away at little shit but,the little shit that's gonna take awhile.Since I picked up these 41mm tree's i've been itching to get them on. The 4' over that I had was giving us a hard time so,I took that as a sign that the bike didn't want it and went back to stock length tubes. This isn't what i'm thinking but,it's a start...Ain't gonna pull my motor for another month or so and had start somewhere.

Best bike from the show

For being a smaller show there where a good handful of nicely executed chops. This one besides the black pan below was my favorite. We talked to the owner for awhile and he has 2 years into this bike and it shows. This bike was well thought out, and the attention to detail was amazing. He plans to attend Torquefest and Rockerbox. Hope to see it on the road this summer. He said it was made to be a runner not a show bike. Seemed like a humble dude, and I hoped he won an award for his efforts. Nice, simple, clean bike.
