Trying to raise a little more money for the bandsBLACK ACTRESSandLORD (Chicago)who are playing the Friday night of Violation Tour in Savannah, IL. If anyone wants to make a donation send it to cokrocker@hotmail.com. Any help is appreciated. We also might be doing another press of VT shirts. Let us know if you still need one and if we have enough interest we will print them. Get your bike out on those last shake down runs and get ready for another year of Violation Tour.
VIOLATION TOUR starts in the river town of Savanna, IL on Friday night (June 7th)
where we meet, drink and camp for free. BLACK ACTRESS and LORD will be playing next door to the Iron Horse in downtown Savannah on Friday night. We leave in the morning and
head north into Wisconsin all on scenic back roads for around 230 miles.
We follow the Mississippi for a little while and then ride east through
some state parks and we end up camping on private land in Mauston, WI. Please be self sufficient as we WILL NOT have a chase truck. If you brake down we will try to help out. For all you guys with small tanks we will stop every 60 miles for gas. All makes and models welcome just leave the egos at home. Open to anyone.
I am super excited to have both of these bands play Violation Tour this year. LORD will be starting the show on Friday. Check em out at http://denofmetalarts.bandcamp.com/
Violation Tour Research and Development team of Chris and Chris took one for the team this past weekend and got probed my Officer Unfriendly. Although, I think he was just jealous that he wasnt cruising around in a sweet machine.
In all seriousness, we headed west to Savanna to smooth things over with Jerry and to finalize the details for Friday nights VT party. Jerry is one gracious host and is helping out with putting the bands up with a place to stay and some good eats. After a much needed brewski and a ticket from the po po we ran up north to pick up a super secret motorcycle for Slims new chopper project. All in all it was a productive day and the El Camino ran good despite the horrible gas mileage.
We proudly present Chicago's very own Black Actress to headline the show on Friday night at a new bar in Savanna IL called the Man Cave. http://youtu.be/MWIZCx5ePe4

Big thanks to everyone who came out last night and supported what we are doing. It was nice meeting some new peeps. Unfortunately, I dont remember much after Lockdown. I didnt snap really any photos since I was busy gettin my swerve on..
Thanks to my partner in crime Slim Chris...without this dude, this event would have never happened. Sorry for the puke again :(
My good friend Darryl Rotten from www.lostcauseengineering.blogspot up in Madison, WI did a really amazing paintjob on my chopper tank. I gave him some photos on one that I already kinda liked and the colors I wanted and he did a really badass job on it. If you need something painted get ahold of Darryl through the blog. Thanks again dude, it means alot to have ya paint this.
VIOLATION TOUR and DARK HORSE present a viewing of 2 motorcycle documentaries.
First up.
6OVER The Movie. Trailer at http://vimeo.com/28742074
A film about 6 people who love and build motorcycles. Not much else to
say really except that it has taken a lot of heart and soul from
Michael Schmidt, Davey Cooperwasser, Matt & Dean at DiCE and
everyone that is in this film...Jeremiah Armenta (Love Cycles), Kim
Boyle (BCM), Eddie Cleveland (Chun), Caleb Owens (Cro Customs), Max
Schaaf (4Q), and Jason Webber (ATR).
then
REVENGE RUN III
Death Science and Malvista Productions Presents the Revenge Run, from
start to finish. This run was born from an idea that friends on the East
Coast and specifically the Southeast should have a run to call their
own. Starting in Rocky Mount, NC and winding through the NC lowlands,
the run is the kind of life event most people desire, but few
experience. Crashes, engine mishaps, surprises, shakedown runs, pabst
blue ribbon, cookouts, bonfires, island hopping on a motorcycle,
roadside fixes, it's all here. If you've never experienced blazing down a
narrow island 90 miles from land, ocean on either side of you and
riding in a pack of 100 or so choppers, then I truly feel sorry for you.
As far as feelings go, it's a pretty good one.
Thursday, February 28th FILMS START AT 9PM. Lockdown 1024 N. Western, Chicago
We will also be raffling off stuff from BILTWELL, LOWBROW CUSTOMS, SHOW
CLASS, LOW SIDE, SATANIC MECHANIC, GARAGE CUSTOMS, DICE magazine and
CHAOS RIDER.
