This tank went for 768.00 bucks on ebay. Is it the same thing when guys who do their own work spend loads of money on vintage parts like bates aris and wassell etc. as it is when yuppies spend loads of cash on bolt on doo dads and chrome skulls and such?

I started (we started).....it's a start

So,the frame I picked up just happens to be a 1948 HD wishbone,which just so happens to be the same year as part of my bastard child Pan/shovel.Found some time to get over to the legs.I (we) cut shit I (we) felt was of no use and blew out some bondo around the neck.Made some tabs for support around the neck..worked on the fender a bit...all minor shit but,I feel like I accomplished more today then I usually do on my day off..I really didn't do anything that took alot of skill but,after working on some of the bike I have a whole new respect for guys that fabricate almost everything on their bikes.....special thanks to the leg his support,knowledge, space and tools....and mailbox for cutting and not cleaning up his mess.

BEEN BUSY......

MY COLLEGE YEARS.......

...... WERE SPENT INSIDE THIS GARAGE. I NEVER WENT TO COLLEGE, AND NEVER CARED TO EITHER, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T LIKE TO LEARN NEW THINGS.

I REMEMBER BEING OUT HERE TO 1 am ALL THE TIME AND NEVER THOUGHT TWICE ABOUT WHAT TIME IT WAS OR WHERE I HAD TO BE.

AS I LOOK AT THESE PHOTOS AND ALL THE EQUIPMENT THATS SITTING THERE, ITS EASY TO SEE HOW YOU COULD LOOSE YOURSELF FOR HOURS.

TONS OF THINGS WERE BUILT IN HERE,.......

BUT VERY FEW WERE EVER FINISHED.

EITHER WAY, I WAS HAVING FUN AND LEARNING A LOT-

Well,after months of collecting parts that caught my eye,I finally got ahold of the one part I needed to begin,building,''Haymarket Riot".

With a stroke of luck Chris and I heard of a farmer that had an original wishbone frame sitting in his hog barn that he needed to sell to pay for his newly late wife's funeral.The guy said' he had money to pay for everything except flowers and he wasn't going to let his wife have a funeral without flowers. So, after talking to the guy and having a beer with him he tells us he has his hen coop filled with 60's and 70's chopper parts if we wanted to rummage through it,what ever we wanted we could have.We spent at least an hour looking through old primary covers,tanks,handle bars,fenders but none of it was,''old school enough,we only wanted the type of stuff you would see in the pages of,the horse magazine.So,I gave the guy 100 bucks for the frame kicked him in the nuts and said fuck off.......................i'm joking of course,we're not cool enough to experience magical shit like that.................................I bought it on ebay......fuck yeah

QUITE THE DESIRED LITTLE TRUCK, AND I CAN SEE WHY. I WAS LOOKING AT A BIKE ON E-BAY FOR A FRIEND AND DID SOME WINDOW SHOPPING. SAW THIS "BARN FIND" AS IT WAS CALLED. 28/29 MODEL A TRUCK WITH SHORTENED BED AND HOPPED UP 4-BANGER. PRETTY DAMN COOL. I BET THIS THING IS A BLAST.
