The Run.....
This years Violation Tour run will consist of a slab of road that we cruised on last year. For you new guys you will have to search the blog when it first began to see the pics. We will leave Savanna IL early Saturday morning and head north on the backroads of Illinois to New Diggins WI. We will not be stopping in New Diggins for any other reason except for gas. From our gas stop we will head southwest to Anamosa Iowa to the Motorcycle Museum. I have been there once and it was really fuckin cool and I think everyone will enjoy it. We will be leaving Anamosa heading south to a bar thats right by the sutliffe bridge in Lisbon Iowa to get some lunch. After a late lunch we will ride directly East and North along the mighty Mississippi River back to Savanna where it will be a free for all. Approximate mileage should be around 200-250 miles. I will plan the gas stops for dudes like me who have small tanks. Should be a good solid run. I will be heading out to the Savannah area in May to scout out the roads and do a dry run. Cant wait. Also, I know some of you guys have the old directions from last year.... if you have the time to email me those that would be a big help. Thanks!
Score!!
MOVIES, ONE OF THE FEW THINGS GOOD TO COME OUT OF THE '80's
TODAY I WAS WATCHING AN OLD MOVIE WITH MY SPECIAL LADY FRIEND. IT WAS AN OLD ONE I'VE SEEN MANY, MANY TIMES, "LOOK WHO'S TALKING". AND WE GET TO THE SECENE WHEN JONH TRAVOLTA LOOKS AT KIRSTIE ALLEY AND SAYS "YOU MAKE MY MOUTH WATER" WITH A THICK NEW YORK ACCENT AND GIVES HER A KISS AND IMMEDIATELY SHOVES HER FACE AWAY. NOW I'VE DONE THAT EXACT MOVE MORE THAN A FEW TIMES TO MY SPECIAL LADY FRIEND, AND AS SOON AS WE GET THROUGH THAT SCENE, I GET A PUNCH IN THE ARM, AND I'M LAUGHING BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW WHAT IT'S FOR.
I'M REALIZING HOW MUCH OF AN INFLUENCE '80's MOVIES, AND EARLY '90's MOVIES FOR THAT MATTER, HAD ON ME GROWING UP. RANDOM QUOTES ARE SAID, AND EVEN MY ACTIONS. NOW I KNOW MY PARENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RAISING ME AS A KID, BUT THEY HAD LOTS OF HELP FROM AN EXTRA HAND KNOWN ONLY AS HBO-
HERE IS MY TOP TWENTY LIST FOR THE BEST '80's MOVIES.

I sometimes have a tendency to remember people by the bike they ride or car they drive, "Jimmy who? Oh, the green panhead - yeah wudda bout him". I knew Chris' bike a couple years before I even knew him. His was the first SPS bike I had ever seen in person, I loved it. I've been a fan of SPS for a long time and was a fan of his scoot right away. I took this shot at the HCPU in '05, my first encounter with his scoot (notice how shiny cleen it iz):

Now, I'm also a fan of Chris too. He bought me a burrito last night. ;)~ This shot was of me n Andy freezin' our asses off heading to this years HCPU:

The pic of that cold ass ride brings back some memories. One of the coldest rides home ever for me. Keeps me pining for that warm summer South Dakota air. I took these pics riding thru the Black Hills:

Yummy!:

The F Word
The boys fight back against the loud and obnoxious Motorcycle Riders that are disrupting everyone in South Park. They throw down the F word and the game is on! Butters turns out to be bike-curious:

Waiting........

Last summer was the best summer I can think of in a long time.......maybe the best ever...I hope to one up it this summer.....I have a job now that is pretty flexible so,assuming the bike runs like a champ,I hope to be gone more often than not.......I can't wait to come across women like this....we saw our fair amount of townies, pigs, and stretch mark filled hotties.......god love em' I look forward to seeing hot trashy biker chicks at all those way cool events......?Last summers beard made sure women my own age had nothing to do with me and allowed the women old enough to be my mother scoot to the front of the line for one shameless summer.....This years beard is sure to bring the hottest 50 year old river rats back to VT 10' camp site.SLEAZY and GREAZY
I fear that VT might stray from what it was last summer.....Last summer we where lucky enough to meet new friends and have a great time.I have a hunch that this year might bring it's fair share of things that would cause us to stop VT and do one of those,"invite only" things.....We ain't hot shit,VT wasn't some grand weekend run but,it was exactly what what we wanted last summer....minus the amount people we had hoped for.If guys show up with there old ladies on baggers that get offended when Bob Bob White jumps over the fire naked or the filthy drunk comment s of one filthy Hartman, then it would have become the wrong thing.
The question of where to draw the line gets asked a lot...There is always some one that has to ruin the party. What bikes can come and what bikes would make this just another get together that resembles a sunday morning ride at the local HD dealer....I don't claim to ''Get it" I mean shit,I need the help of 4 other guys to build ''my bike'' so,who am I to say. But,when bikes start showing up that have nothing intresting about them......then VT isn't VT anymore........I'm just saying

Just fucking around
Thanks Bobby, yer Dad's scoot was rad and I can't wait to get my hands dirty on that dago's ride. I've been home sick with pneumonia this whole week, hence the multi-posts and lack of help with the deadeye. ;) Got a copy of photoshop and while I've been home I've been goofing off with it. For no other reason than I was bored and needed to pass the time, this is the first dumb thing I did with it:
1951 Panhead
The Dago Dead-Eye
