Chicago

I dont ride into the city that much. I'm more of a head out into the country type of guy. But, I decided to head down and meet some friends at the Holiday Club for bike night. This bad ass cafe pulled up and parked outside. Thinking its a Virago?? whatever it is, its cool. We bopped around to another bar for a cocktail and I called it a night. My bike is running like shit, at a shitty time in the season. Time to do some Carb work and get it dialed in for next month since I am pretty much riding out of town every weekend in August. Damn, I got alot of shit to do.

ZZ Top

I'm not much for big outdoor events but ZZ Top is one of my favorite bands so it was worth dealing with the heat and the crowds. ZZ Top was one of my first concerts almost 22 years ago. I was 11 or 12 years old and they headlined over Black Crowes. Back when ZZ Top had the spinning guitars. To be 12 years old and see that was pretty cool. Theses guys still rocked. Although, Frank Beard looked like he was ready to go to bed after the first song but they still put a hell of a show on and played "La Grange", "Jesus just left Chicago", and a bunch others.  Good way to end the weekend on a Sunday, motorcycles, friends, booze, and ZZ Top

If your not first, your last.

Me, My buddy Chris and his Ol' Lady decided to get some riding in on Saturday out into the country.
With a stop in Maple Park IL at the Maple Park Pub for an amazing burger, fried pickles, and summertime beers. The bikes where running good, the weather was perfect, so we headed over to the Sycamore Speedway for some Saturday night races. I love going to the speedway, the people watching, the smell, the beer, its all reminds me of summer that has finally came and what will probably end too soon. Life is short.....get out of the city and smell the cow shit!!!!!
